Many have been asking.. Where will the trees regrow ?

I have heard and honour your sadness, your stories, and your memories. For now the answer is, I don’t know.

There is so much to say about what Altspace and the trees have meant for all of us. I do believe that everyone who touches our lives and every experience is for a reason, a season or a life time. For me I am deciding. Was Kitt for a reason? for a season? or for the long term?

I cherish you all and love your songs and the laughter!

Our oldest known singer is 74.8 The youngest 8 (she was with her mother). There are 4 known families (Mother - daughter teams, husband & wife, whole families).

We have heard songs in French, Italian,Spanish, Mandarin, Dutch, Japanese, German, Polish, Portuguese, Slovakian, Swahili, Tagalog, Turkish and English (so far).

This is a place of welcome. People who come here can sing in any language they want. We hype each other up, encourage new members to try, and never criticize an attempt.

From time to time people choose songs with lyrics others don't appreciate. Please consider just muting for the length of the song, rather than advocating for censorship. Likewise, survey the crowd before a controversial song choice. Thanks for always helping to create harmony here.
