PAST EVENT

Join us for this monthly discussion about the VR industry from the perspective of the women making within it.

Building off our discussion from last month - "the radical opportunity is to intervene at the start of a medium" by our dear friend Kamal Sinclair, let's discuss: 1) The idea of women taking more space in the VR conversation. 2) Challenging the “if it bleeds it leads” VR narrative from Hollywood by making useful content (pushing the dichotomy of dangerous and dumb --> useful and thoughtful)

I'm honored to have Tawny Schlieski (President of Oregon Story Board; Founder of Shovels and Whiskey) and Melissa Painter (Creative Director, Innovation Strategist and Founder of MAP Design Lab) join me to discuss these topics with all of us.

See you soon, and bring your ideas for how to make this forum what you want it to be.
