X-BEATS - VR-Party with Live-DJ-Set

Monthly Meet-ups in the AREA X

X-BEATS is a VR party series hosted by vm-people taking place once a month in our virtual club at AREA X.

Get down on the dancefloor and move your body to the beats delivered live by our resident DJ Illuminatty. Based in Miami, she knows exactly how to turn a bunch of lazy avatars into one enthusiastic, twitching crowd.

Natasha Murray (aka Illuminatty) is a VR DJ known for her shows in Altspace VR, Wave XR, Sansar, Neos and Twitch. For over a year, she has been DJing with Tribe XR in Virtual Reality, bringing an eclectic mix of tech house and breakbeats from her home to real venues around the world. With a penchant for blending art and music, she designs her own stages for her performances in Wave XR, using storytelling elements to embellish her designs and DJ sets.

On the second Thursday of the month, we invite to an international meet-up at AREA X, our venue in Virtual Reality. In addition to a speaker who shares his experiences around new, immersive forms of storytelling with us, our meetings offer plenty of time and space for exchange around our campfire.

X-NIGHT is a social VR event from the series IMMERSIVE X hosted by vm-people.
Partners: eXperimental Reality Lab + Karlshochschule.
