Lida Liberopoulou is an expert cultural heritage preservation world builder, digging through archeology, anthropology, and world history research to recreate and preserve Ancient Athens World Heritage landmarks at their peak, risen from the dust and rubble of what remains today.
Lida is a world building master, recreating Ancient Athens Acropolis, Agora marketplace, and the Olympia in AltspaceVR on a 1:1 scale. Visitors to these popular worlds step back into time when these social spaces were at their height. Her ongoing project to bring these wonders to life inspires thousands to help preserve this special places for education and exploration field trips in the metaverse.
Lida is also one of the Team Leaders for the Cultural Heritage Preservation Team for Educators in VR.
