Telehealth Week, Sept 19-25, News, Events, Resources & How Does VR & Health Logistics Fit?

PAST EVENT

Our 3rd Getting-Older-In-VR Health Systems Chat in Social VR meetup! Two weeks ago we discussed Senior Living Design in the context of building age-friendly communities. One week ago we chatted about the technology and logistics of supporting an aging population at home. This week we celebrate and highlight telehealth technologies that will play a role in both! Along the way, during this and prior meetups, we'll discuss how VR can help! "Telehealth Awareness Week will include a schedule of national and regional events highlighting the growing acceptance and value of virtual care in U.S. healthcare as well as a series of new informational resources to support broader access to telehealth services for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Updates on activities planned for Telehealth Awareness Week and opportunities to participate will be available on the official Telehealth Awareness Week website here: TelehealthAwareness.org."
