Join us for a very special interactive AltspaceVR talk in BVRL 2.0, where long-time Bristol VR Lab resident Steve Flanagan will give a short lecture on the whats, hows and whys of photogrammetry, followed by an exclusive guided tour through Altspace worlds created using his very own scans.

Bristol-based Steve Flanagan combines a love for exploring the natural and man made world with a passion for creating exciting digital content.

With over 20 years experience as an adventure sports coach and guide and over a decade experience creating technical media, Steve is currently producing BBC 3D visualisation. He has shot and produced time-lapse, 360 film and 3D content for construction and engineering, commercial and creative productions. International conservation expeditions and natural history broadcast.

Steve will be chatting about producing 3D assets, looking at couple of photogrammetry projects, their use in VR environments and exploring how we are looking to using these assets and platforms in the future.
