PRESENTATION
Cherokee student Kayla Jumper will talk about her experiences using virtual reality in rural Oklahoma and her hopes for the future.

PRESENTER: Kayla Jumper
Kayla is a freshman at Oaks Mission High School in Oaks, Oklahoma. She has helped to develop lesson plans to teach algebra in virtual reality. She also assists in introducing kindergarten and first grade student to VR. She wants to become a psychologist and hopes to use virtual reality in therapy.


MENTOR: Angelina Dayton
Dr. Angelina Dayton is a virtual reality user experience designer, speaker, consultant and trainer. Her specialty is the design and deployment of virtual reality user experiences into complex organizations such as public schools. Her expertise is based on an anthropological assessment of how best to integrate emerging technology into highly structured, low-resourced environments.
