PAST EVENT

Are you a student or teacher and wish to include virtual reality in the classroom? Educators in VR presents a unique experiential 101 program covering VR devices, immersive educational worlds and experiences, apps and teaching at various educational levels, and the terminology you need to know to explore teaching and educational programs in VR.

VR isn't necessarily a replacement for teaching in the real world, but in this time of self-isolation, many schools are moving their classes online. VR becomes one of the online tools to create engaging immersive experiences.

These workshops are for educators and students eager to learn how to use virtual reality and AltspaceVR for education.

Educators in VR hosts weekly workshops in AltspaceVR on Tuesdays, as well as throughout the week for special events and team project workshops in AltspaceVR and other VR platforms. Join our Educators in VR AltspaceVR channel for updates to upcoming events. To get the most out of our growing community, join the conversation and browse through a vast bank of resources on our Discord Channel, Facebook group, @educatorsvr Twitter, and website Educators in VR for information. We often live stream or record presentations and workshops on our Educators in VR YouTube channel.
