Fear and anxiety are high right now, and the vCoaching team is bringing Stichting Valk, Director of the VALK Foundation, a mental health care institution based in the Netherlands, to discuss their fear and anxiety treatments, including COVID-19 support, and how they incorporate virtual reality.
Valk Foundation began 30 years ago in The Netherlands as a facility specializing in the treatment of fear of flying, working together with Leiden University, KLM and Schiphol Airport, becoming renowned as an expert anxiety treatment center. Their team includes certified clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and health psychologist specialists in panic and anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma (PTSD), and fear and anxiety over the COVID-19 pandemic. Valk Foundation incorporates VR into their treatments and programs, providing simulation and exposure treatments that have proven to be very effective. They offer treatments in English and Dutch.
This is an educational and discussion event, not a therapy session.
