2020 Educators in VR International Summit brings together educators, learners, researchers, and experts in VR, AR, and XR to share their their passion for integrating immersive technology in education.

Nicolas Barone, Founder, Universe

Nicolas Barone practices what he preaches. After 4 months and nearly 3,000 attendees during his computer science and programming educational sessions in AltspaceVR, he will share the lessons learned along the way and how to push the limits of the possible using a social virtual space as an open platform for teaching. His team is currently teaching a full length course in VR and launching a Unity course later this winter. Learn how virtual reality is revolutionizing remote education.

Nicolas Barone is the founder and CEO of Universe which operates CSinVR, and a senior computer science engineer at Cornell University currently on a leave of absence for the last year running the company full time. Universe VR has grown to 3,000+ users in 3 months after launch and is currently valued at $300,000, and formed partnerships with Oculus and Altspace to feature Universe’s courses.
