A Place & Project-Based approach is especially effective when learning is leveraged with the endless potential of innovative technology. Incorporating Augmented, Virtual and Mixed Reality enhances student learning by personalizing it through “voice and choice” options as they navigate through a lesson. Creating our own VR field trips and AR artifact museums for our Social Studies 8 course has transformed our history lessons; making them dynamically engaging through multi-sensory experiences, stimulating interest and motivation to inquire deeper, and increasing mastery of content to ultimately promote student
