PAST EVENT

Welcome to Educators in VR, an open, community event for educators who are using, or are interested in learning about how to use VR and AR in their work.

This event will hopefully be the first of a monthly meetup on Altspace and will feature some short talks about interesting VR/AR projects in education from around the world. This will be followed by a chance to ask questions and discuss.

We hope you will take the opportunity to introduce yourself and your interest in VR in Education, as well as do some virtual networking.

In future events we will be inviting anyone who is willing to share their projects, knowledge, experience, insights, challenges with the community. This way we can all benefit and contribute.

The Educators in VR community is already strong on various Facebook groups, so we thought, 'why not actually get together and meet in VR?' and Altspace has been hosting successful, well-attended events for quite some time now, so it seemed natural that this could be an ideal 'hub' for our budding community.

We look forward to meeting you soon. See you there!

Kristina Bucher (DE), Professor Silke Grafe (DE) Professor Erica Southgate (AUS) and Daniel Dyboski-Bryant (UK)
