MARK RYAN ANDERSON is enthralled to be back in Altspace with ATNYC after premiering the Annabelle Experience at the North Bend Film Festival. Ava Lee Scott is a Performing Artist, Actor, VR Content Creator and Artistic Director, born in Brooklyn, New York. She is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Actors Theater of NYC, a multidisciplinary acting company. In 2018, Ava created ANNABELLEE as above, so below, a cross-platform experience combining immersive theater, virtual reality, and episodic television, which debuted at North Bend Film Festival with production from AltspaceVR, Microsoft’s SocialVR platform. Ava studied at The Lee Strasberg Theater Institute, The New School, and Southampton College with Alec Baldwin, where he cast her as Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire -- as well as a graduate of the professional acting training programs with William Esper and Maggie Flanigan. She frequently performs stunts in major motion pictures and television shows, including The Avengers, Dietland, The Good Cop, Noah, Step Up, and The Tick. Ava created and performed as the orphan Romany Alchemist Annabella in the Off-Broadway show Sleep No More for over six years. She has appeared in over 50 immersive shows, and was the creator, writer, and lead actor in Serenade, which was featured in the The New York Times and The New York Times Explorer.

The Actors Theater of NYC is a multidisciplinary acting company, consisting of writers, actors, and artists, who develop and produce original works in various media formats. They are excited to bring theatre performance to the VR world and hope you are excited too.
